Our Designs
We take a lot of time making our designs super comfy and all our designs are meant for any water sport you decide to use them for. So we would love to give you some tips we have picked up over the years for you to get the most out of your Fashion Fish swimwear. How to care for your swimwear. -Cold/warm hand wash with mild detergant -DO NOT soak -DO NOT bleach -DO NOT spin dry or dry clean -Separate light colours from dark before washing -DO NOT iron or press -Lay flat to dry out of direct sunlight -DO NOT pack or store wet -DO NOT leave rolled up in wet towel - Remove any excess water and dry without delay -Avoid rough surfaces such as concrete, swimming pool edges etc -Light colours may be transparent when wet. -Avoid excess contact with suntan lotion, board wax, some acne treatments and any harsh chemicals sometimes found in saunas, spas and pool -Although the best possible dyes are selected worldwide, the fastness of some shades must be treated with caution. Particular care should be taken with bright contrasting colours in the one garment as some colours may run or fade. "Please treat your swimwear with care as there will be no replacements where "consumer abuse" has occurred' Many people have asked what is the best fabric for me. Here is a litte more infomation about the fabrics we have used. 20% nylon 80% lycra -Super soft and stretches for a great fit and less irritation. Ideal for sensative skin. For best fit of your nylon/lycra swimwear they should be on the tight side of firm, THEY WILL GIVE,this will also help with the life of your swimwear. Unfortunately nylon/lycra does have a shorter life expectancy in chlorinated pools and spas than the 100% polyester, if you follow the care insturctions above you will be happy with product life. Bayswim Tog wash is a great product and if used correctly will help extend the life of your nylon/lycra swimwear. 100% polyester (Chlorine Proof) -This fabric is designed for chlorinated pools and spas and has a much higher life expectancy than the nylon/lycra, however, it doesn't have the stretch or softness of the nylon/lycra so in some cases can cause irritation. For best fit of your polyester swimwear they should be firm but not tight.
